Welcome to the homepage of the Department of Electronics Engineering at National Chiao Tung University (NCTU). NCTU was founded in 1958 in Taiwan. The Institute of Electronics, which is our graduate school, was also established in the same year. In 1964, the Electronics Engineering undergraduate program and the Semiconductor Research Laboratory were established. The undergraduate program at the Department and Institute of Electronics were eventually merged into the Department of Electronics Engineering, and has since made our Department one of the best in Taiwan. • Chair Professor Chun-Yen Chang obtained the 12th NIKKEI ASIA PRIZES Awards. He is one of three Aisan members who received this brilliant honor.
• The Drama Lab, composed of students form department of electronics and engineering, NCTU, presented the "WHAT COW" in City Concert Hall of Chu-pei. This is the first time EE students held outer-school performance over 43 years.
